Discreetly low - Audi A4 on 20" DOTZ Revvo dark

For many years, Norman Cremer has been tooling around on everything that has wheels, starting off with scooters and mountain bikes as part of his other hobby – downhill biking – and lastly, of course, cars. An automotive mechatronics engineer by training, he now works as an automotive examiner in a large auction house.

But let’s have a look at this car. Norman’s vision was a nice everyday usability car offering plenty of space for his downhill bike, which prompted him to go for a 3-l diesel engine Audi A4 B8. He tuned up the production performance by adjusting the electronic control units and changing the air filter system; now the four-wheel drive A4 pumps out a whopping 313 hp at 620 Nm! The body structure was enhanced by a RS4 front grille, with two 100-mm tailpipes completing the major overhaul.

Like all tuning fans, Norman suffers from extreme vertigo. As a result, the original suspension struts had to go and were replaced by an AirRide chassis which enabled the lowering or raising of the body at the touch of a button. The built-in anti-roll kit reduces body roll when cornering at higher speeds.

Together with the remarkable lowness the 8.5x20-inch DOTZ Revvo dark make for a perfect combination as they disappear deep inside the wheel well when the AirRide control buttons are pressed. The lowering of the body accompanied by the hissing of the exiting air draws a lot of attention to Norman’s all wheel drive. That’s just how it should be if you want your car to stand out from the masses.

The Audi’s features are nothing to sneeze at either, with the interior boasting finest leather materials while the exclusive line range leaves nothing to be desired. Music-wise Norman has a disposition to Electronica, which is why the interior has been treated to a Bang and Olufsen sound system.

All things considered, Norman’s Audi is a feast for the eyes, an everyday usability car with absolute show qualities.
